If a picture is worth 1,000 words, being there is indescribable. You have to experience it for yourself.

But videos help. Here are a couple of videos I made last year.

Mission Corps Missionaries carrying the Cross from Central Park, trough Times Square to Old Saint Pat’s in Soho:

Living Stations of the Cross at Old Saint Patricks Cathedral in lower Manhattan:

Shorter version of the living stations on Youtube.

This year we are doing it again. If you want to be part of the experience, join us!

Good Friday Itinerary:

  • Cross Walk from three distinct locations in NYC converging at Old Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Soho.
  • Celebration of the Lord’s Passion in the Cathedral
  • Living Stations of the Cross
  • “Midnight Run” bringing food, clothes, and other supplies to homeless people in the New York City.

And street evangelization all day long! Come young and young at heart (that means age is not a factor) to celebrate Good Friday in New York in a way you’ve not lived it before and will always remember. If you have any questions ask, feel free to ask in the comments below.

  1. Wow, James! Thanks for filming and sharing. As I watched the videos, it occurred to me that the Youth Corp was on a pilgrimage of evangelization through NYC, spreading the Good News of our salvation through the Cross. God bless them. God bless you.
