Persevere to the end!
As I was saying the other day,
- I would like to comply with a friend’s request and write an article on the natural law argument for heterosexual marriage, but…
- Things like this (see video w/caveat below) make me question whether there’s really any point to that right now.
Seriously, folks, whatever your views are on gay marriage, do not watch this video if you are already having a crummy day. If you do watch the first video, you have to listen to the second one, and I promise you a well earned episode of warm fuzzys to brighten your day:
Forgive my disclaimers and olive branch offerings, friends. It’s just that when I turn on the news there’s not a lot of happy stuff to comment on these days. Lot’s of talk about “War” nowadays. War on this… War on that… Where is the love, Y’all?
This song always cheers me up!
Play it again!
My natural law argument on heterosexual marriage coming up tomorrow…

Thank you for posting the vid of TFP. I was in tears seeing how far this country has sunk into a morass of relativism. The multiple points exemplified are all well known, but seeing those points in action is overwhelmingly disheartening; but only for a minute. Then, just remembering all our battles are best fought on our knees added a sense of peace. The volunteers, protesters, & our country will be in my prayers more pointedly going forward.
Thanks, Aidan! Peace is really what we need to pray for, interior peace and exterior peace.
I am reminded of St. Maria Goretti, “It’s hatered.” What an ugly seed it brings forth. Thanks for sharing. God Bless, SR
St Maria Goretti is a great example to use here: she remained unaffected and pure — What a saint!
I think about this precious little saint often! God Bless, SR
“Blessed are ye when they shall revile you and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake. Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in Heaven.” (Matt. V: 11-12a)
Great post! Thanks Biltrix, for this eye-opener on INTOLERANCE…… by those who talk much about ‘tolerance’!!
We must keep up the good work to ‘fight’ (metaphorically speaking) for traditional, monogamous, heterosexual marriage and not let the violent gay activists intimidate us.
Thanks Kathleen! I just posted a more serious article today. That one is a natural law apologetic of traditional marriage vs. gay marriage.
God bless!
