If You Support Pro-Choice Candidates, and VOTE for Them, Don’t Tell Me You’re Pro-Life. Ever. 25

Good short article I found on unifiedpatriots.com this morning [original title: If You Support Obama, and VOTE for Obama, Don’t Tell Me You’re Pro-Life. Ever.] Includes this video:

“In light of the recent national discussion over abortion, it’s important Americans know the President’s best-kept secret: his extreme record on abortion. Melissa Ohden’s powerful story draws a stark contrast to his unbending support of abortion and the abortion industry and reveals the human face to this debate. Melissa’s story is running on Missouri airwaves right now, sponsored by the Susan B. Anthony List, and has $150,000 behind it. President Obama’s appalling record on abortion is not just limited to his four votes to deny rights to abortion survivors but spans to his recent heartless refusal to support bans on sex-selection and late-term abortions. These actions fly in the face of mainstream American views and run counter to the President’s first term pre-election talk of finding common ground.”

    • What’s there to say? Her message speaks for itself. If anything else needs to be said — unfortunately, it does — it is that people need to start thinking with their hearts and their minds. I don’t thing we can rely on politics to accomplish anything good, if those of us who vote for them are not good at heart first.

  1. I’ve been telling conservative Christians who voted for him these very words. I don’t get it. Wonderful video

    • Thank you, Holly! Thanks for calling them to task on this. People need to start thinking before the walk into a voting booth — they need to think in line with their core principles and decide to act accordingly.

You’ll notice I changed the title of the piece. I mention this, for what it’s worth, because I don’t want to mislead. When I shared the article here, it automatically used the title of the original article. Out of fairness to the original source, I felt I needed to adapt it.

Thanks so much for your comment!

  2. Great, truthful video. The scientific evidence is here. There is only willful ignorance left for those who support abortion. I would rather suffer a great depression instead of another unborn child being killed. Is there any other issue more important than this? As for me and my family, we vote for life.

  3. One more thing, sonography is my profession, we measure crown to rump from the first trimester, seeing the baby’s legs, arms, fingers, face. At this stage of development, the baby begins to literally dance, he or she won’t stop moving and bouncing around! And yet at this stage he or she can be aborted legally anywhere in this country. At least those persecuted by Hitler knew their enemy’s face. Our persecuted are snuffed out of existence without a chance to even fight.

    • That job of yours — God bless you for it! I am sure it gives you lots to reflect on and lots of insight to share with your patients. Keep it up, Pro-Life Apostle!

  4. I know an American Jesuit priest who voted for Obama in the last election. When I asked him why, he said it was the best thing for the country. ????? I haven’t asked him how he’s voting this time around, but I pray, for his sake, that he changed his mind.

    • Hi 8-Kids! It does make you wonder, doesn’t it? I like to do my best to give people the benefit of the doubt in these cases, and at that time, there was a lot of reason for doubt. We really did not know who this guy, Obama, was. He promised many things. Now, based on how well he’s kept his promises — like the promise he made at Notre Dame University to allow a conscious clause to opt out of paying any coverage for abortion — we know. Some of us were not fooled then. Let’s hope less people are fooled now. If he is reelected, then we really have to question what is wrong with people’s consciences.

  5. I don’t get how any Christian much less a Catholic could vote for him. Especially after seeing his assault on our conscience rights and our right to religious liberty. How can those who claim to be Christian vote for a man who has no regard for human dignity and the innocent? It really boggles the mind.

    • Boggles the mind is right! Let’s just pray that people’s consciences will wake up and that they get it right on election day in November this year. Thanks Teresa!

    • Thanks for linking back. I will check out what your blog to check out the background you added, soon. I’m sure it will be highly informative. Right now, just enjoying a long weekend. Hope you have a good one too! God bless!
