There are some moments when no words will suffice. Only prayer, tears, and an embrace.
Our heart and prayers at Biltrix go out to the children, parents, and community in Newton, CT. May the Lord console and help them as they recover from this horrible tragedy.
Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’ To this day, especially in times of ‘disaster,’ I remember my mother’s words, and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.” — Mister Rogers
The families of the victims and the children in the school who lost some of their innocence today are in my thoughts and prayers. Our nation needs to return to God.
Thank you, Teresa.
Reblogged this on JUSTICE FOR RAYMOND and commented:
Why? That is the only question, why these innocent children?
This is certainly the question that is on almost everyone’s mind, Ray’s Mom. Let us pray for peace, consolation, and deeper understanding. My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering on account of this, especially those most affected by it — families and loved ones. May God give you consolation and peace.

How difficult it is to reconcile the disasters, tragedies, and pains in this life with the absolute perfect love of God. He is sovereign and just. In that, we can trust, though we cannot understand. May He enable us to shine the Light of Christ into the dark places of this world. Praying here.
Thank you, Heidi.
Heartfelt prayers for consolation and comfort for all those affected by this recent tragedy are being said across the UK. We remembered them in our own intercessory prayers at our church this morning. May God’s peace and strength be theirs at this time.
Thanks, Ivan.
