Planned Parenthood vs. The Catholic Church: You Decide Reply

Great video compilation from Fr John Hollowell speaks for itself. Who do you prefer to represent you?

"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- That's the chief aim of birth control," Margaret Sanger

What irritates me about this video (and I think Fr John intended it this way) is M. Sanger repeatedly squeaking the same mantra, which I don’t have to repeat here. If you saw the video you know what I’m talking about.

If Youtube existed back in the day, you might have heard Ms. Sanger say the following things as well (these are actual quotes):

The campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical with the final aims of eugenics.

Margaret Sanger

The most urgent problem today is how to limit the and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective.

Margaret Sanger

More children from the fit, less from the unfit – that is the chief aim of birth control.

Margaret Sanger

Children should not be born when either parent has an inheritable disease, such as insanity, feeble-mindedness, epilepsy, or syphilis.

Margaret Sanger

For the sake of comparison, in 1924, in Mein Kampf, Hitler wrote :

He who is bodily and mentally not sound and deserving may not perpetuate this misfortune in the bodies of his children.

Eugenicists: you know what they say about birds of a feather…

Clearly, Planned Parenthood is still dedicated to the legacy of Sanger, it’s founder. Let’s continue to get the word out. Hopefully, PP’s support will continue to decline.
