In this short video, Fr John Bartunek skillfully answers this question.

Fr John Bartunek
Fr John is a personal friend of mine and I enjoyed working with him in the seminary where we were both professors for a number of years. If you’ve been following this blog long enough, you are already familiar with some of his stuff that I’ve shared here. He is the priest featured in the conversion story, “From Atheism to the Priesthood.” In case you missed that story, here is a link to the article and a few others articles and resources that you might find interesting.

Very good! God Bless.
I’m glad you liked it, Teresa. God bless!
Reblogged this on Perpetual Learner.
Cheers, Fr Matthew! Thanks for the reblog.
Interesting. I hope when I take a contemplative walk in the evening that’s included.
I think a healthy evening stroll in the beauty of nature is a wonderful way to enjoy a heart to heart dialogue with the Creator. Thanks for the comment and God bless!
Thank you, and thank you for the post.
Seems easy, but I find it difficult to pray.
You are certainly not the only one who finds it difficult to pray, friend. St Theresa of Lisieux was an expert on how difficult it was and that is probably why she is such a popular saint, so you are not alone.
This is really good stuff! Thank you. I love the focus on relationship with God.
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thanks, Wendy. Daily meditation is a great way to maintain that focus on our relationship with God. God bless!
