Late yesterday afternoon the news broke that the Susan G Komen Foundation had decided to halt all donations to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. As you can imagine, pro-lifers quickly began to celebrate and pro-abortion activists were shocked.

For year, we in the pro-life movement have been calling for not only the United States Government to defund Planned Parenthood, but also for corporations and organizations like Susan G Komen to halt donations. Over the years we have seen victories with corporations like Target and Harley Davidson pulling funding because of public boycotts and pressure from the pro-life movement.

Last night’s announcement is a huge victory for pro-lifers, babies and for women everywhere as many have wanted to support Susan G Komen but could not in good conscience because of their support of Planned Parenthood. Now that the donations have stopped and we are open to supporting Susan G…
